I am using Adobe Audition to make my mic clearer, but that adds a delay by like 1 or 2 seconds
How can I delay the video and audio by like a second to make it back in sync with my voice?

I tried reducing latency with adobe doesnt work that well

This is why using Audition and other software-based DSPs are not recommended. The delay is also not generally stable, and will tend to drift, leading to un-fixable desync over time problems even if you DO get it matched up initially.

I believe that you may be able to set a negative mic time offset in your settings though, or possibly 'use buffering' in your video capture settings for your camera to bump it forward.

Really though, not using Audition is the better option. This is why many casters go to a mixing board, for hardware EQ/compression which generally doesn't incur the kind of delay (especially erratic delay) that a software solution generally forces in.

Agreed with FerretBomb above. Hardware options are your best bet. For live performance (non recording) software just doesn't cut it. Actual hardware is best. You can get some decent mixing hardware and audio processing items on ebay fairly cheap.

Micing properly is also recommended. Most people use audition for noise cancellation because they want to remove the hiss that comes from poor equipment or improper gain structure.

What's your equipment setup? Perhaps we can help you get the sound you are looking for without a software DSP?
