HotKeys Only Partially Working

I have an issue where my hotkeys that toggle the visibility of a source works properly in my pre-existing scenes that already had the source. However, after recently creating a new scene and trying to copy and paste some shared sources over, the hot key doesn't seem to work on the new scene.

I tried even copy and pasting the source to a pre-existing scene that didn't use the source before and it also doesn't seem to work.
I know copy and pasting a source should work because that's how I did it for my pre-existing scenes originally so I don't understand why it won't work now.

Every solution I search up only gives me the same thing "Run as administrator" or "never disable hotkeys". When it was something I was already doing in the first place, so now I'm stumped. (Plus those solutions seem to have been meant for when hotkeys don't work at all which isn't the case with me)

Any ideas?

Hotkeys for visibility are set at a source within it's scene. So you have to set them for every scene where you copy it to.

For the sake of completeness: the above hotkey also works on a per scene basis. So it works only at the scene currently in Preview (if in Studio Mode) or currently in Program (if not in Studio Mode).

If you want to toggle visibility of a source in all scenes with one hotkey, you should put the source in a sub scene.

Create a new scene for your source (note that it cannot have the same name). Insert that new scene then as a source into all the other scenes. Have the hotkey work on visibility of the source within the sub scene.

Note that the same can be accomplished by using groups.
