Hotkeys not working when running Shadow (Virtual PC)

I'm using my local PC for streaming and running my games on a Shadow virtual gaming PC.
I have setup some Hotkeys in OBS (In this case for an instant Replay). I also use a Stream deck.

All is setup correctly and working fine until I'm in my Shadow Game play. Because Shadow takes over the Keyboard, the hotkeys are no longer working. (OBS is running as Administrator)

Is there any way to work around this?

hi there, i've registered a new account; from the future. now in the past. JUST to answer this question because i've had the same issue and i finally resolved it.
the only solution i've been able to come across is you need to click OUTSIDE of your "shadow [VIRTUAL PC]" and click somewhere into OBS.

For example:

• you are playing your game on your shadow pc and something inane happens and want to capture an instant replay via streamdeck button.
• you now must take your mouse and click on OBS (select file menu and deselect or in other words make OBS the MAIN SELECTED-FOCUSED window)
• now your instant replay streamdeck button will work. [certainly, if you have your replay buffer on as well]

you have to reclick between your shadow pc and obs. but this is the only workaround so far that is 100% working for me all of the time. other methods 'may' work but this solution i've presented is guaranteed to work.
