Question / Help Hotkeys for Scenetransitions

Hey I set up a Midi controller to switch scenes and toggle sources on/off. Unfortunately I couldn't find a way to select a transition to transitions not only by cut between the scenes. I have a few transitions Set Up and would like to be able to select them with a Hotkey if possible. Am I just missing something or are the type of scene transitions only changeable by mouse and clicking?

Right-click a scene in the list of scenes
In the context menu is an item called "Transition override"
In there you should see the transitions that you have set up.
You are selecting the transitions that occurs when your transition to the scene you're working on

Studio mode is really only used if you have to change a scene while it is being broadcast.
At least that's the only time I use it.

I just tested it, and it works if you switch to the scene using a hotkey

Yeah unfortunately that doesn't seem to do what I want. I wish to select a transition type with a hotkey. My scenario is like this we are streaming a DJ Set with multiple cameras. I set up a midicontroller (midi translated to hotkeys) to switch between the scenes. Now i would love to quickly set the different transitions also via my midicontroller (which uses hotkeys). Now if I set them Up like you said I can only transition to that scene with that specific transition. But I would love to control the transitions globally.
Does that make sense?
 
Sense is good, but transition is static, but you can add more scen with diffrent transition and use midi to control. The scene define which transition is used.

In theory that sounds good but I work with 5 cameras and a few overlays so I already have over 10 scenes. Now if I make every scene with multiple transitions I end Up having way over 100 scenes which I think will overload my Laptop and is not useful anymore on a midicontroller since I have to have 5 to 10 times as many buttons... hence 5 to 10 extra buttons (on the midi controller) to select a transition would be much easier and a lot less messy!
 
I agree with the suggestion. Ability to change transition type on the fly with hotkey is very helpful.
