Question / Help Hotkey use causes windows to beep

I'm playing around with all the various OBS settings and I've encountered an issue with hotkeys.

Whenever I change scene using a hotkey it makes windows beep. Using windows 7 64bit. I can't find any setting for this, can anyone shed some light on how to stop the beeps?

Also, is it possible to set up hotkeys for sources as well as scenes? I don't think it is but I couldn't find any confirmation one way or the other.

Did a bit more playing around and have some more info:

I was using numpad 1 and 2 and it beeped.
Using normal 1 and 2 and it beeped.
Using o and p and it beeped.
Using home and end, no beeping.
Using f9 and f10, no beeping.

I guess it's a case of the keys conflicting with something, though I'm not sure what?

Windows makes that sound if you press that sound in places where the buttons are not supposed to be process. This isn't caused by OBS

Guess the easiest thing to do would be to disable all the windows sounds, not sure why I didn't do that when I first installed it to be honest!

Well the only time it makes that sound is if you press an invalid key in a regular desktop program (i.e. not a game).
