Hotkey for deactivating/activating preview

Hey,
I'm recording in 4K and I have massive render lags (up to 30%) if preview is on and my card seems to get to the limit
If I deactivate the preview everything is smooth and there are no lags in the log.

so I really do not need preview all the time but it would be awsome to select a hotkey to activate/deactivate preview.

any chance to get this feature in the future?

ok funny I just found out if I disable preview, but the open preview in a window (as shown in screenshot) I also have NO render lag in log and the recording is also smooth. may this be a bug?
