Question / Help Horrible color artifacting on Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS / OBS 22.0.2

Attached is a .zip archive of two examples of what I'm talking about. Essentially, when recording, instead of recording properly, it creates a very rough and artifacted version of what it's looking at, only using the colors of the background. I was using Screen Capture on one monitor, with OBS in another.

Must be something with your system's decoder then I guess. Here is how it looks for me.

... I'm at a bit of a loss now. I opened the file in Kdenlive as opposed to Ubuntu's integrated "Videos", and it looks fine!

Figured it out. Had `mesa-va-drivers` installed, which broke something in Ubuntu's native Videos. It's been removed and playback works now.
