I've been using the custom ffmpeg output successfully with GTX 1080 for some time with the nvenc_hevc codec, but suddenly with the new update(s?) the video ends up with horrible artifacts. I have not changed any settings within OBS. Downgrade is not an option since I need the fix for direct 9 games.
Container matroska, bitrate 12000, keyframe interval 150.
Custom video encoder settings: preset=hq rc=vbr_hq rc-lookahead=32 cq=33. I have also used the low-latency high performance preset, without any other parameters besides bitrate, and the result remains the same. FFmpeg encodes just fine when used stand-alone with the same settings.
Here's an (awkwardly cropped, sorry about that) demonstration: https://i.imgur.com/5QLUQGl.mp4
My logs (they do not indicate any failure): https://hastebin.com/uzidodikuh
Does anyone have an idea what might cause this?
