Question / Help Hornettek Capture PS4 Pro Blackscreen (Switch works)

Hello, first time on the forums as well as first time OBS user but unless I'm blind I'm not sure how many people have had a similar issue (so I apologize in advance if this is yet another duplicate thread). I'm currently using a Hornettek HT-VC01 capture device to try and capture video for my games to record them. I'm currently using Ubuntu 18.04 with OBS 24.0.3 (log file is here https://obsproject.com/logs/VjAFwlb1AAZr1Y5v) and I'm able to have my Nintendo Switch video display just fine in the preview area but when I switch to my PS4 Pro it's just a blackscreen (Yes before you ask my PS4 is on and I had it connected to my TV to make sure it's outputting properly :P). I have a HDMI cable for my Switch and PS4 and I'm simply unplugging one from the capturing device and plugging the other in to change signals.

Hope I'm not overlooking anything obvious as it should just auto detect the new video feed right?
