Question / Help Holding Ingame Picture while Tabbing

Heyho guys!

First of all thank you guys for your awesome work with OBS lately, i totally love this program!

So heres my problem which i couldnt solve yet:

Whenever im playing (Warcraft 3 most likely) and im Tabbing out, i would like to hold my screen Ingame, so people who are watching my Stream can still see the Ingame picture while im the switching to Desktop.

is there any option which allows me that?

How are you currently capturing the game?

From what I know, WC3 is DX8, so it can't be captured with Game Capture (yet), so I assume you're using Software capture? If you play the game in Windowed or Borderless mode, and have Aero enabled, and capture with Window Capture, then I believe it will continue to only capture the WC3 window when you alt-tab, as long as WC3 is not minimized.

Yea im playing with Software Capture plus Window Mode. I just tried your advice and it works, whenever im tabbing it still records the ingame screen! thanks! <3
