Question / Help High Upload Speed/Low Max Bitrate

Hello everyone!

I'm having trouble streaming!
My computer specs are:
i7 2.80GHz
16GB RAM DDR3
Radeon HD5700

18GB Download Speed
5GB Upload Speed

My current stream has currently blurs out a lot of motion even when I'm getting high FPS in-game and on OBS.

My settings on OBS are:
1680x1050
30FPS
x264 Preset: Faster
Quality Balance: 7
Max Bitrate: 1200

According to my research, I should be able to increase my max bit-rate to 3500 which should solve my problem... but whenever I increase it to over 1200 I start dropping frames.
My FPS in-game and OBS is completely fine... the frames just start dropping over the stream.

I did all of that and I'm still having a large amount of blurring when my character is in motion.

Could you please post a log (found in %AppData%\OBS\logs) as well the results for the test you took at Testmy.net?

So it seems that my upload speed is lower than what I initially thought.
Is there anything I can do still to improve the quality of my stream?

i hope you choose the nearest server to you on trestmynet ...

so whatever you are limited due to your upload right now usually high motion games get a really nice quality with 720@30 at around 2500-3000 bitrate but you gotta live with the quality loss thats whats happening when you are live encoding you either drop frames due to hight bitrate your upload cant handle (streams lagging) or you lose quality with a low bitrate but your upload is able to manage it (stream looks blurry and grainy)
