Question / Help High upload speed but low bandwidth

Hello,

I have download speed of 500 Mbps and upload speed 250 Mbps.

However, I have very low bandwidth results according to twitch bandwidth test.

I am connected by wire.

I share my connection with 2 other people, but they don’t use it for gaming or streaming. Mainly mobile chatting apps.

I’m not sure why I have low bandwidth.

Where are you located? I have never seen somebody with bad ping to everywhere.
I guess that this is the problem, all ingest servers of twitch are far away from you, so the packets have to travel over multiple networks, so maybe some network on your way is overloaded, which gives you a bad streaming expierence.

TwitchTest is going to be more accurate and relevant here than a generic speed test result or an ISP claim.

If you are close enough to one of those ingests that you think you should be getting better quality, then you should troubleshoot your local network for faults (drivers, NIC, cables, switch, router) and if all are OK then you may want to address a complaint to your ISP.
