Bug Report High Ping when I start OBS, ping stays high after closing it

Hey guys,
So I am new to OBS and have been trying to stream Smite on twitch. Whenever I try to stream in game, my ping, usually being ~100 spikes to close to 300. After closing OBS my ping continues to stay at 300.
