Last couple of days i was testing streaming with my gaming setup using obs but couldnt find a fix for the two major problem.
I use elgato hd60 x to capture from my ps5 and windows pc to stream using obs. Cables are connected like it should be.
PS5 HDMI <-> hd60 x INPUT HDMI
hd60 x OUTPUT HDMI <-> 2k asus monitor
hd60 x TYPE-C <-> PC USB 3.2 PORT
I am using two monitors and playing the game from 2k asus and streaming from the pc which is connected to 1080p another monitor.
My download and upload speeds are 15mbit/15mbit.
When i start to stream, i feel input lag while playing game FC24 on the gaming monitor (and as i know hd60 x already has passthrough and the above connection supports it). I can easily feel the input lag. Also, normally my ping is like 70ms when stream is off and when i stream it is between 90-100 ms. After some search I checked tcp pacing in obs and i am giving 5000 bitrate for stream (which is enough as i have 15mbit upload). No other devices are connected to router but still it adds 20-30 ms on to my normal ping.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, looking forward to hear your opinions.
