Question / Help High percentage number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls problem

Hi, I am experiencing a very high percentage of lagged frames for some of my recordings (79%). This began happening recently after I switched my recordings because of a corrupted file to being in mkv instead of mp4, and to record to a different external drive since the other was full (causing the corruption). The external harddrive is the same kind as my other one that had been working fine so I am not sure if that is the problem or just a coincidence but it is a Toshiba dtb310 1tb. Since I made that change I have had this lagged frames problem for 2 of my 4 recordings. The recordings that were fine were of the games Rust (this one was also twice as long as the others) and one of the PPSSPP game emulator (for this one I was also streaming at the same time as recording). The video files that were choppy due to lagged frames are of the games Squads and Generation Zero, the ladder of which's log is linked at the end. I assumed this issue would be caused by my cpu being very old but running the log though the OBS log analyzer says it is my gpu. Since my knowledge in hardware is mostly limited the last time I had changed my graphics card I had a brought it into a shop and requested one good for streaming/recording/editing, and that was less than a year ago. I just wanted to ask if anyone had any advice here before I upgraded my graphics card again in such a short amount of time. Thanks!
