Question / Help High Motion Bitrate Record?

Hello,

I have a problem. I just recorded with OBS an Trackmania Video but it seems like OBS can't handle the high bitrate... It looks all chopy and the bitrate is messed up...

How can I record Trackmania 2 with good quality? On this video, I used the following settings:

I tried EVERYTHING. The lowest bitrate (like 10000-20000) to very high bitrate (130000) There is NO different. It looks totaly choppy on youtube. On my local computer it looks very good. But on youtube it doesnt look good.

Heres an example:

What is wrong with it? :( Cant i record high quality stuff in Trackmania 2? I saw other Trackmania 2 Videos on youtube and all have high quality bitrate except for mine....

Hope someone can help me.

Well, I tried to record with with crf=5 and crf=15, no difference at all. Heres the video from crf=5:

There must be a way to get it in good quality on youtube... Also, I dont re-render it from sony vegas. My last file is 1gb big and the quality while driving sucks. I heard uncompressed videos are better quality but the file size is bigger.

heres the last logfile from obs:

I hope someone can help me...

crf 5 offers no visual difference to crf 15, especially where youtube is concerned.

Uncompressed 1080p videos run in the hundreds of megabytes per second. Not viable for upload to youtube.

Youtube reprocesses EVERYTHING.

its not really choppy. but you are only recording at 30fps so it will never look that smooth.

i watched the 1st yt vid btw (besides the grainy quality every now and then its okay for 1080p30)

for testing purposes.

use 60fps 1080p

bitrate/buffer 55000

and preset ultrafast but make sure to use high on process priority and use the high encoding profile.

When recording using crf based settings, do NOT adjust bitrate and buffer from the guide.

The encoder will select the bitrate for you.
