High Memory and CPU usage when recording.

I recently downloaded OBS to record with my friends on destiny 2. When I record my game the frames drop really low. I checked task manager and it seems that my memory and CPU are running high when I run OBS and my game. How do I fix? Should I upgrade different parts?
I have 8gb of memory, rx580 gpu, and a Ryzen 5 2400G cpu.

your CPU just isnt going to cut it for recording a 1920x1080 resolution. Thats pretty much it.

Consider going to a 720p resolution.

When it comes to the memory.. 8GB should be sufficient, but is it really maxed out? Generally isnt much of an issue unless its maxed out

I was thinking of upgrading some of my parts to better handle everything. But I'm not sire what to get.
 
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X would be good.. $340 on amazon right now and is typically $449.. id snatch that up pronto.

youll need to get another motherboard with it..

  • X570 and B550 motherboards
