Hmmm ok, I'm not familiar with MSI's 4080 version card specifically, but I tend to steer clear of MSI Cards in general. So again, personally, if I had the option to select a specific 4080 Card I'd go for the NVidia or ASUS versions. Sometimes my card choice is determined by the space I have in the case, so just bear that in mind. But like the others, I would opt for a 4080 card, even if I had no option except the MSI one.

The component base of all manufacturers is identical, except for NVIDIA FE and ASUS STRIX. The only difference is in the cooling system. But personally, I would prefer the Palit GeForce RTX 4080 GameRock for about the same price.

Regarding the NVENC encoder settings. You can use what OBS suggests automatically. These settings are fine. Or you can ask questions later.
