Hey, I'm trying to record csgo at 1080p at 30fps while playing the game at 1440p at 144hz at an unlimited framerate. I have an i7700k cpu, a gtx 1080 gpu, and 16gbs of ddr4 ram. I use 2 monitors, a 1440p 144hz with gsync and a 1080p 144hz being run at 60hz. I'm using the NVENC encoder at a 2500 bitrate and am trying to record at a base of 1440p and an output of 1080p at 30 fps using the bicubic downscale filter.
The problem I run in to is that I play csgo at max settings and get a consistent 200fps. When I try to record though, it drops my frames around 70 to 100fps. I've tried reducing the quality of my game, and I've tried to change some encoder settings, but nothing else. I don't want to play the game any lower than 144hz, or record it at anything lower than 1080p. Can I do this and what are the solutions?
