Question / Help High encoding

Hello,

I was trying to record some footage of me playing with OBS but the game gets very laggy and impossible to play.
I thought it could be the game (I was playing FIFA18) and it could be because the game needs a lot of performance by the hardware but when I tried to record CS:GO (a game that i easily get 300 fps) when I press the record button it gets lower than 100 and with a lot of lag spikes that make the game impossible to play... Please help me.

Edit: I already tried the youtube solutions like going to control panel and switch the priority to above the normal and the problem still the same.

Thank you for the answer but, I did that and the fps in game got normal i can play normally at 300 fps but the recording is very low quality and still very laggy just like it was when I was using the other encoder.
By the way what format do you recommend to save the video?
