Hi thanks for the reply! Obs is running as administrator and windows game mode is on. Also preset is already set to high and psycho visual is now off. I wonder if it has more issues if it's full screen. I used to use fullscreen borderless and it may have had less issues but nvidia optimized it and it put it back to full screen. Do you think my bitrate might be too high? I have my upload speed capped at 40 and use 3400. Also game mode is on and I also just turned off the game bar

Your bitrate shows no issues, though it's a quite low for 1080p@60FPS but that's an image quality issue, not what you're looking for help with.

"High Quality" preset, "Lookahead" and "Psycho Visual Tuning" use additional resources (CUDA) to slightly improve image quality for the same filesize but are common causes of stalls/lags, depending on the software being captured and stream settings used.

I forgot to mention, disable/remove any overlays, as they can cause issues, such as GeForce Experience.

I usually stream at 720 as that's what I'm used to when my old pc could only handle that. People have always complimented and asked how my streams looked so good so I'm not sure how but apparantely they always look really clear. I just disabled geforce experience. Since getting the new PC and everything wiped I forgot to turn it back off!

Facebook itself says even 6000 is fine, so no your bitrate is not to high, you could even set it higher if your internet plan supports it
Comcast is so terrible and unreliable I think I've just grown used to under shooting every setting because of the constant internet fluctuations. I remember putting it higher before and it would cause obs to go into the red and yellow bar. So I just set it lower. My upload was probably only around 10 though

I can't comment on the quality of comcast. But I can say that normally higher bitrates work fine. The Porn sites are for some strange reason in front, there you can stream UHD with 20 MBit/s Bitrate just fine. I wish the mainstream plattforms for gaming would allow that but they seem to be all stuck at 6-8 mbit/s or reencode everything like youtube.

I don't want to blame facebook but I'd honestly probably prefer them be the issue so they can at least see that and fix it. Fb definitely is broken though doing broadcast interruption for most viewers and kicking them to other streams and such so it wouldnt be a surprise if the spike in views did something on fbs end but I'm just tired of it
