I've read the sticky but it doesn't seem to have helped me.
I am trying to stream at 30 FPS, 720p, but I am having difficulty with high encoding and lowered framerate. I have streamed several types of games, or tried to with limited success, including World of Warships, League of Legends, Dark Souls 2, Minecraft, Rocket League, and Binding of Isaac : Afterbirth.
Of the listed games, I have had success with League of Legends, Dark Souls 2 and Rocket League. World of Warships lags a bit, presumably due to graphics, but the two that have severe difficulty are Minecraft and Binding of Isaac.
Specifically, with Isaac, framerate drops from 60 FPS to 30 FPS which slows the actual gameplay to half. Minecraft's framerate would drop to 10-20 and appeared as a slideshow. Full screen and windowed make no noticeable difference for either.
I don't believe I can use NVENC, nor do I know how to. I find very little instruction in its use or installation. I don't know if I need to export it to OBS or my driver or what. Regardless, I have read that the quality diminished quite a bit and would like to avoid it.
Alternatively, if there are components of my computer that would be first replaced, please let me know what I should change. If necessary I will purchase a new motherboard and processor to stream more easily. I don't know where to start and I'm at a loss.
Apologies if I sound cold, I'm really frustrated that my computer is suddenly not doing what it was built to do - game and record.
