Question / Help High encoding leading to crash with one game only + mic

Hello,

I've recently started recording modded GTA V, and am experiencing two issues. 1) the high encoding issue randomly. What I mean is that I may not have this issue at all for 20 minutes of recording, and then it happens and my footage is lost. I changed my video encoding settings to "quick sync" before this most recent recording, but it didn't help the situation. Thus far I have not had this issue with other games, only GTA, so I don't want to downscale my video just for one game. Or is this not how it works? I don't want my video that goes on YT to be bordered or windowed, I want it as normal as all other videos are.

2) My microphone tends to cut out, which I assume is either due to OBS, lag, or both.

Is there a way I can make GTA lighter/easier for OBS, or is this encoding issue just going to keep happening?

I am on a laptop, so I know I'm pushing my luck by trying to play GTA and have it recording/encoding.

Incomplete log and irrelevant portion.

That was my mistake, I posted the most recent log, and that was from my accidental recording. I have attached the correct one.

12:22:11: Number of frames skipped due to encoder lag: 2352 (18.40%)
12:22:11: Total frames rendered: 10158, number of late frames: 336 (3.31%) (it's okay for some frames to be late)

Your system isn't capable of the settings you're using while playing the game at the same time.

I kinda figured. Is there any settings you recommend for me to try? In the video settings, if I use the resolution downscale, will that make the video that is uploaded to YT smaller? Like, bordered?
