Question / Help High Encoding CPU Usage... Help?

Hey, no matter what settings I use, I cannot get obs to stream without a ton of lag.

I use my laptop with Windows 10:
Asus F550J
Processor: Intel(R) Core (TM) i5-4200H CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.80GHz
RAM: 6.00GB (5.89GB Usable)
64-bit Operating System, x64 based processor
Screen Resolution: 1366x768

Internet upload speed: Between 4.30--4.40Mbps


I am not a computer whiz. I've watched a ton of Youtube tutorials and none of them help me at all and so I've finally come here. I'm trying to stream Dead By Daylight. Some tutorials said that it could have something to do with my video capture device?? I have Logitech C270.

Any help will be so greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Thanks. I read this earlier and I've tried adjusting the resolution on both my game and my webcam but it doesn't really seem to do much. Could it be that I need to upgrade something or that my CPU is outdated?
