Question / Help High CPU Usage When OBS is Idle

I have been trying to figure out why OBS Studio is taking up 20-25% of CPU when it's just sitting idle. I'm not recording or streaming anything. None of my settings seem unreasonable.

Update as well, i was messing around w/ my elgato settings, and if i toggle the enable 60FPS settings in the Configure video page of my elgato, it drops the CPU usage down to about10%

Does that seem normal? i'd prefer to maintain 60FPS, and not 30FPS

Might be USB controller overload. Get USBView from https://obsproject.com/downloads/usbview.zip to identify which hubs your devices are connected to. Move bandwidth-hungry devices like webcams and capture cards to separate hubs by switching their USB ports.

it's currently hooked up to it's own usb port. i believe it's a 3.0 because it has the blue contact in the port. I moved to a different port and it's the same effect. i will contact elgato to see if there's a known issue or if my card is acting up.
