Question / Help High CPU usage, I'm getting big lag while playing/streaming

Hi guys, first post so I'm sorry if I do this wrong. I read the stickied post about this topic, and I've tried for a few hours to mess with resolution/fps and other settings to get rid of this - while streaming Dota 2 I get a much lower fps and laggy behaviour than I do when not streaming. The only this I can come up with is that I'm in that "your computer is too lame" category - 2-core CPU and AMD graphics, maybe I should upgrade. But if you can tell me anything that I have set wrong/can change to make this playable and streamable, let me know!
