Hi.

I just started today using OBS MP. Everything works fine, except the Streaming.
I was wondering why twitch was stuttering and i started the taskmanager what showed me this...

You are using "veryslow" x264 preset.

Use "slow" or medium instead and your problems are gone!

I actually recommend veryfast instead, especially when recording above 1080p30. Actually, you really shouldn't be streaming above 1080p30 at all due to how crappy Twitch's player plas such high resolution, high framerate video anyway.

ah -..- my fault thanks for the help. I was kinda confused. Normaly i look at the names of the coding profiles

But its still much more power consuming than the old one. OBS-old uses maybe 10-15 %
with OBS-MP i cant even play big games like GTA 5 or witcher 3 and Stream at the same Time..... :(
but OBS-MP is really awesome

They use exactly the same encoder (assuming you don't use nvenc or quicksync in the old obs)

Dodge speaks truth. I recommend 720p/60 instead. Same load, better experience for viewers.

ok i tested every valueable configuration and the new OBS ist still 20-30% more Cpu heavy
I configured everything to 1280x720

are the Filters so much power consuming ? I just put 1 filter on my webcam and2 on my mic (gain + gate)
