I currently stream at 720p but I had wanted to record in 1080p. I followed the guide in order to run a second instant and just record.
But the CPU usage is astronomical from the second instance. Recording and streaming from the first instance takes around 12% cpu. Streaming only takes roughly the same usage. However, when I tried only recording with the second instance, at 720 it was taking close to 30% cpu. At 1080 it was closing on 50%. When I streamed and recorded at 1080 in the first instance, it was under 20%.
Is this a known bug? Or is there a way to fix this? I don't understand why the second instance would use so much cpu, doing half the work of the first.
