Question / Help Hi, New Here, Need Help fixing red screen with new card.

HI, I've been using an Elgato HD for a long time and i wanted to upgrade. i saw the AverMedia LGX and liked the reviews. I bought it and when all is set up and installed i got a red screen in OBS and could not get signal though on the native recording software. The card pushed signal through as i could play games while the cords were plugged in. I felt it was fualty so i sent it back and replaced it with the new Razer Ripsaw. Exact same issues. I changed out with fresh HDMI cords. bought them new. I changed USB ports. I have reinstalled OBS and gone through following Razer's set up instructions exactly. Still i get a red screen. I even called Razer customer support and they have not had this issue yet. They said they will get back to me in a couple of days. Not sure what to do at this point. I have read through tons of forums and spent about 10 hours trying to figure this out. Just an after thought: My Elgato HD works perfectly, just plug and play. Thank you for taking the time to help me.

My PC specs:
I7 4790K CPU
Msi Z87 GD-65 Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB)
Kingston 120 GB SSD (OS and where OBS is installed)
WD Blue 1TB HDD (Game storage)
MSI GeForce 770 2GB
Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Again, thank you for helping me. Sorry that this is so long I wanted to cover all bases to the best of my knowledge.

I had a similar issue with a blackmagic card recently-try adding the card as a global source instead of as a scene source

That did not work. If only i knew why the Elgato HD does not give me a red screen. It must be something to do with USB 2.0 to USB 3.0 I think this might be something with my motherboard. I'll check drivers and come back.
