Hi , I’m brand new to this and have a question I’m hoping someone can help me. I use my Mac screen to follow music notation which also plays a backing track while I play piano . I would like to record myself (video) and audio while playing but also be able to see myself playing and see the software on my screen so I guess Picture in Picture is what I’m trying to say. I would think I need a camera that can connect to my Mac but not sure what to purchase yet . My digital piano is connected to the Mac so my music notation software and piano are in sync.
Is it possible using OBS , a camera connected to the Mac to do this . Hopefully I’ve described it good enough for you to understand .
So firstly what camera would I need (I do not want to use a microphone that’s built into the said camera if possible) also how would I set up OBS.
I know it’s a lot but I have to start somewhere and would be extremely grateful.
Any help would be fantastic.
