HEVC file support in FCPX

Hi! I'm editing on my Mac game footage, which were recorded on windows PC in the new Nvenc HEVC codec.
But FCPX and native player both can't read it untill I convert "hev1" which OBS uses by default to "hvc1" via ffmpeg.
Is the any way to record files in proper format from the beginning?

I have the exact same use case and the exact same question.
It's really a pain to let the file run through ffmpeg all the time.

Same issue here and I can't find a permanent solution either...
