I am an audio engineer new to OBS. I am trying to use VST plugins to process my microphone. When I setup the processing chain and tick the downmix to mono button then it works great with even level in the left and right channel. The next time I open OBS my mic is outputting ~90% in the right channel and ~10% in the left. When I uncheck the mono box it switches to mostly in the left channel and some in the right. I did a bit of googling and I think it has to do with whether the VST plugins are stereo or mono and I've tested having only mono plugins in the chain as well as only stereo plugins with both having the same results. I've attached a log file of my most recent session when I opened OBS and the mic is outputting at ~90% in the right channel. Any ideas on how to get around this?
