Here is what I am trying to do:
Broadcast my collection of pd videos through vaughnlive.
Here is what works:
Was easy to set up, streams work fine, medium processor load, playlist advances etc... (kudos to the developers - this was remarkably easy to do!)
Here is what doesn't work:
My vids are of various resolutions, various sizes, various aspect ratios - the PROBLEM is that many of these show up at various non-centered spots on the screen, and of various sizes. For example my ancient "Radar Men from the Moon" serial shows up tiny in the upper left hand corner, while other movies will be correctly sized and centered, and yet others will be too large and are cropped - as viewed both in the live Preview window and in the output from vaughnlive.
Setup - using a .xspf playlist that was generated by VLC as the "Source". The OBS setting "Source Alignment Snapping" is set to "Snap sources to horizontal and vertical center" (but this appears to apply only to moving the frame around manually in the Preview window).
