**Basic Description:**
I have recently invested in some parts for a stream PC to offload the strain on my main PC when I am doing PC gaming but also to allow high quality streaming on my consoles. I want to have a consistent stream quality and streaming from consoles is not optimal and cannot handle what I want. I am not 100% sure if the solution I have at the moment will work as I still have a few pieces to purchase and I want to know what all I would need to get in addition.
**Software/Hardware Involved:**
**STREAM PC**

I will also be using an Xbox One and a PS4
The main issue comes in two fronts.
1) I need to find the best way to route all three inputs (gaming pc, xbox, ps4) to the stream PC, as well as have the option to skip the stream PC and display on my monitor if I am not wanting to stream and just play some games.
2) I want to make sure that my audio will be passes from each machine through the stream PC and be able to be heard completely. For my PC I use Astro A50's and on my consoles I have Astro A40's that I use on both my Xbox and PS controllers plugged in. I am worried that using HDMI output to the stream PC will not actually send the audio and that I will need to get some sort of mixer and this is where I am not sure.
[This is my current set up](http://imgur.com/UhWFuqg) that does not include console streaming. I currently just stream from my PC and seeing as the sounds are all local it outputs everything.
My thought process currently is to have each of the three devices (gaming pc, xbox, ps4) go into HDMI splitters, and have one output from each go into an HDMI switch that goes into the stream PC. With this I was thinking about having the second output from the splitter go into a second HDMI switch (4 port) that will have each device (gaming pc, streaming pc output, xbox, ps4) that will plug into my main monitor. This would allow me to switch which HDMI device is being sent into the stream PC for broadcast/recording as well as allow me to select which device will be displayed on my main monitor for any reason; be it gaming offline or having my stream device up.
This seems like it would work for all of the video output, but I do not know if it would be ideal. I also am not sure how audio would be handled here as I am 99% sure that each of these would only output the game sounds through the HDMI and not have any xbox chat or anything like that. This means that I will most likely need to get an external audio mixer and thats where my knowledge drops off. I am looking at making this big jump and I'm not certain that I know the best solution. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I have looked at a few guides out there but I have not come across anything that has this many components in it. If you made it through this text wall I thank you and am grateful for any assistance you can give.
