Hi i using x34 monitor, 6600K and 1070 8gb.

i play with 3440 x 1440 resolution and wanted to output to stream at 1080 and seems it cannot downscale to 1080 the least i can downscale was 1920 x 720... and i realised when i watch back my stream it didnt show everything the screen and its shaking up and down as if i was recording using a camera with my hand...

And solution?

Thanks

3440 x 1440 is 21:9
1080p is 16:9

downscale to 1080 whould give u black borders.

anyway: i can type in any resolution i want in the canvas and downscale field manually

You can set the base canvas to 1920x1080. Game Capture the game and stretch it out so it uses the entire canvas. It ruins the aspect ratio but that would be what you want. Stretch it by holding shift while you drag an edge.

Nah it would merely be 2580x1080. "1080p" doesn't imply aspect ratio, just the horizontal pixels (and progressive scan).

In any case, the OP should stream at 720p (i.e. 1920x720), if not smaller, instead of 1080p (i.e. 2580x1080) because of the bitrate limitations of internet streaming. Even at Twitch's new max of 6000kbps, I doubt you could make a 2580x1080p stream look any good. Its just too dang big. And 1920x720 is probably pushing it.

I suppose if you're streaming to YouTube they might be able to handle it, but I don't know how much bitrate it would require, more than 6Mbps.
