http://www.speedtest.net/result/2801518747.png this is my Speed and my CPU Specs are

CPU: I7-2600K (Overclocked to 4.4GHZ)
GPU: Nvidia GTX 580
8 GB Ram
Motherboard: Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z
OCZ Vertex 4 SSD

also running dual monitors

not sure if any other required information is needed

So my problem is that I try to stream League Of Legends but, whenever I stream its not smooth, my FPS is usually a constant 60 FPS but whenever I stream it suddenly just drops randomaly to like 40~57 ( and then back up to 60 ) and it's very noticable in game and it feels like it stutters.

settings for OBS:

Quality Balance: 7, Max Bitrate (kb/s): 3200, Codec: AAC, Bitrate: 128

and I use Game Capture as source

So i was just wondering what the problem could be?

thanks in advance guys

Try to enable lower grafics settings and/or put your CPU preset to a faster value as it seams like the CPU is not capable of transcoding with your bitrate in the cpu preset you've set without impacting the game's fps.

veryfast is recommended, but if you have the spare CPU you can try faster ro even fast. Just keep an eye on your CPU usage and see which one your computer can handle while still performing adequately in-game and on stream.

Update obs and then untick monitor capture when you're not using it, also pause your stream if you do play it on the same machine.

Hey, thanks for the reply, I just tried that ( not unticking monitor caputre but unticking everything except the one thing that was capturing league ) seems a bit better but still losing fps ):

No worries, change the preset back to veryfast, run the 64 bit build if possible and put the game at a higher priority from task manager.. also note that LOL automatically slow down fps if you lose focus on the game window.

Monitor Capture appears to be your problem; it's the WORST of all capture modes. For LoL, use two scenes; a Window Capture (with Aero on) for the launcher, and a Game Capture for the in-game executable (it's a separate program from the launcher). There's an auto-switcher plugin here on the forums that many LoL streamers use to auto-swap to the in-game scene and back to the launcher scene after each round (need to set the launcher scene as the 'default').
