Question / Help Help with stream FPS.

Hello guys!

I'm pretty new to OBS and streaming in general, so I have a couple of question to ask and I hope you don't mind.

I noticed I lagged alot while streaming, and for some reason I'm lagging when I'm not streaming aswell when I play world of warcraft.

These are my PC speccs: (playing on an Asus Gaming laptop.)

Windows 8.1 64 bit
Intel Core i7-4700HQ CPU 2.40GHz (8 CPU's)
Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 ca memory 1792
NVIDIA GeForce GTX870M ca memory 9070
12 GB Ram

Now, I'm pretty noob when it comes to computers.

But should I be streaming wow on 30 fps without lag? Perhaps some settings I've missed out on?

Thanks for help in advance, have a nice day!

Sincerly Martin

Use your Nvidia settings panel, go to the Optimus settings and force your games to run on your Nvidia card instead of the Intel one. This will use your high-performance GPU instead of the energy saving one. Make sure OBS is running on the Nvidia as well.

Wow man, I feel like slapping myself in the head right now, but I also feel like giving you a high five! Thanks alot mate, I've been running games on integrated video card for 3 months.. You are awesome!
