Hello,

So I am trying to stream just so I can learn more about game broadcasting. I am streaming Rocket League, Civ Beyond, Skyrim, and the occasional shooter.

My specs are

resolution of 1360X768 from some TV
i7 4790k @ 4.0ghz
8 GB ram
GTX 960 with 4GB Gddr5
and Windows 10

I am having trouble getting the resolution fixed, sometimes the screen has a black border on Twitch, sometimes on Twitch you only see a quarter of the screen of what I see. I have one video (name: theeerager) that seems to have gotten it right with skyrim but I don't recall those settings. I am confused on what I should be downscaling to or if I should even be using my resolution and downscaling from there. Help meeeeeee.

First off, looking at your Twitch.tv account, no past broadcasts or highlights or anything is on your channel. To make videos visible to others, you need to go to the video and save it so it can be seen, or something like that at least. I personally use Hitbox so I'm unsure of the exact way to do it on twitch.

As for your problem, if its what I think it may be, then there's two things I can suggest.

In the sources section, if you right click on a source, there's a setting for Position/Size. Playing with the different options under that allow you to adjust how the layout looks. Try doing the "Fit to Screen" option, that often works for window capture sources.

If there's still problems with the sizing, then the other thing I can think to try is if you're using a game capture source. Right click on the source and select Properties. one of the checkbox settings is to "Stretch Image to Screen". If you tick that on, it should make the source fill the whole screen. Be sure to leave "Ignore Aspect Ratio" unchecked though, so it doesn't mess up the way the source looks, like stretching it too wide or too tall.

Hopefully that helps you!

Ugh marry me. Thanks I am doing game capture so I did stretch to screen and it worked perfectly. The fact that you can't see any of my one videos (haha) is weird though there should be one Skyrim one and that's it. I've deleted a bunch due to this newly fixed issue.
