Help with rescaling

I just tried my first screen recording on my Mac and the screen capture only showed the upper left quadrant of the screen. I suspect it has something to do with scaling, but I don't know what needs to be changed. I have an Apple Studio display with resolution set on 2048 X 1152. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Same here. Capturing VHS, any display is upper-left quadrant. As I recall the lowest resolution selectable was 720p. I recorded many old family movies this way, so prefer to trim what I have, but can't find out how. In any case, how to prevent this at the point of capture? (Windows 11)

Be sure to Upload a log AFTER a Recording and/or Streaming session (at least 15 seconds... to a minute)

You will have the consideration of your Base OBS Studio settings for
video settings
base resolution: 1920x1080
output resolution: 1920x1080

Then, be sure to read https://obsproject.com/kb/aspect-ratio-guide

Lawrence, I posted my log. Will you be able to look into this?
Thanks

Incomplete log... you didn't follow the instructions
unrelated to rescaling , but I did see 3 audio sources at 3 different sampling rates... never a good thing

did you read the aspect ratio article?
