Question / Help Help With Recording

Hi when i try to record with OBS it will either lag in my video NOT A STREAM
or the quality will be so bad i would be better recording with a slipper

my system is

intel core i3
RAM 8GB
HDD 1TB
64 bit

What is the best way to record non laggy videos of games such as Garry's mod,TF2 and CSS i use windoow caputre by the way

my internet speeds are 15mb down
and 1.10mb up

please help asap :)
