Question / Help Help with Ps3?

My Ps3 is run through a Roxio GameCap. The old one with component to TV & USB to comp. Whenever I set up a scene/source, my preview gets audio from the Ps3 but no video - only a black screen. Is there something I'm doing wrong or is my capture device just old/unsupported/joke? Everything runs like magic when I'm just using my PC, which is top o' the heap in terms of specs. Any help is appreciated - thanks in advance!

Also as a fair note, the PS3 uses enforced HDCP; if you have it hooked up to your capture card with an HDMI cable, it's unlikely to work. Try hooking it up with the AV cables (composite or component) instead, if this is the case. Otherwise, yeah... Roxio seems to play poorly with others.
