Hi guys ! I'm new to streaming and I have some questions, first let me tell you what hardware I have and what I'm aiming for

My gaming pc =
I7 3770k
12 gig , 3 gig 6950 fire
Avermedia LGP
4.5 Mb. Of solid upstream
I use a usb headset for my sound

Since I already have a I5 2500k from an old build I'm gonna be using that for the build , I'm trying to achieve an smooth 720 p @ 60 fps , the lower the budget the better(really trying to achieve a good price/quality balance), and oh yeah I play mostly fps`s

Here are my questions:

Do I really need a capture card and If so what are the pros( I saw a post for ubuntu dual pc without a card post)?

If a capture card is needed , which one would you recommend ?

Could you recommend a good webcam ?

What possible issues should I expect on a dual pc setup?

Could you recommend a good tutorial (video if possible) on how to connect both computers for streaming purposes?

Thank you in advance!

A capture card will make your life much easier. Avoid USB capture devices and stick with internal cards, they'll likely be a bit cheaper, and definitely easier to work with. Unfortunately, I can't give you specific recommendations as I'm not overly familiar with capture cards myself, but someone else will surely chime in with good advice.

The only real issues you can expect in a dual PC setup is possibly quirks getting the capture card set up, and maybe some audio sync problems. Both of which are generally easy to take care of.

As far as for the actual streaming PC build, the 2500k has a built in GPU that will likely have enough power to do 720p60fps, and the CPU itself should also handle the encoding just fine. Setting up the two PCs is generally as simple as plugging the right cable from your gaming PC into your capture card.

edit: Oh, I just saw you will be using a USB headset. That may or may not be a problem.

For the love of all that is holy avoid all USB capture devices unless it's x-capture 1. Always use internal cards as top priority

your gaming machine should actually be able to run all the latest fps games with no performance decrease and stream at 720@60 without a real problem .... at least in my opinion

The ExtremeCap U3 will probably be latency-free for the most part, though it's not as full-featured as the XCAPTURE-1. Do note that for any USB 3.0 device, you have to have an Intel or Renesas USB 3.0 controller for it to work correctly.
