Question / Help Help With PC Game Streaming

1st, let just say i am a dumbass for forgetting to save my log files. but i will try to give as much info as i can on my settings.
whenever i try to stream pc game like star wars the old republic, my stream is either choppy or pixelated but doesn't seem to lag what so ever.

if you don't notice it, then i must be losing my mine but anyways....
i have the program set to my screen size of 1920x1080
i have the game in window mode
i use the "game source" feature
bitrate is at 1500
fps 30
but i still get a blocky or pixel look when i move.
i thought of increasing the buffer but it does nothing.
i don't have the most top of the line computer but it is fairly usable.
CPU: Intel Core i3 2120 @ 3.30GHz Sandy Bridge
RAM: 6.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24)
Graphics Card: Intel HD Graphics
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1
Capture Card: Roxio Game Capture/ Roxio Game Capture HD Pro
Internet Connection: 20 Download\ 2 Upload

any pointers or tips?

tried and still goes blocky. seems to be fine in movies/cut scenes but once i get into a battle (referring to swtor) it goes to hell.

Are you streaming at 1920x1080 with only 1500 bitrate? You will get pixelation out the ass if you try to do 1080p with that low of a bitrate. You probably want at LEAST 3k bitrate to do 1080p. Not to mention your CPU is pretty weak to try to do 1080p, that's a LOT of data to throw around.

well i have the video in the settings to monitor 2 which is 1920x1080 so should i change that to the size of the game window? so like 1280x720 then downscale the game to fit screen?

Try:
Quality 7, Max Bitrate 1600
or
Quality 6, Max Bitrate 1700
Buffer Size: ~3000

Audio: AAC 128

Under video:
Resolution Downscale 1.50 (1280x720)
(If your game is in 1080p)

2mbps upload is pretty good for 720p, but there is no way you can do a good-looking 1080p stream with that. Most viewers are fine with 720p though.

i am not looking for a high quailty type looking stream. something with more frames because xsplit free is locked on 25 and at least 480p. will try those settings and report back.

I mean, 1700 isn't a ton of bitrate, even for 720p. You are always going to get pixelation in high motion scenes with a bitrate like that for 720p. You'd need to ramp it up to well over 2k if you are really concerned about getting rid of any pixelation whatsoever, but that's generally not necessary. Skimming through several of your VODs, your stream is very watchable and quite clear, even in high motion scenes.

Pixelation is just a fact of life when you are streaming, there's really no way around it.
