Question / Help Help with PC components

Hello, i am semi-proffesional League of Legends player and i would like to start streaming. It should be atleast 720p stream. Could you help me select the components i need to change in my computer ?

VGA nV Gainward GT440
Intel Pentium Dual-Core E6800
3GB RAM
ASRock G31M-VS2
350W supply

I have about 300euros to spent. Or maybe, is it possible to buy components that could do 1080p stream for 300euros ? Thank you :-)

Well.. Theres only one thing thats pops into my mind, a Capturecard.
Since I cant see your 3,3Ghz Dual Core CPU handling the encoding for a 720p or higher stream with decent quality, let alone play games on it while streaming.

And a Capturecard is futureproof.
So its no thrown away cash ^^


Just try recording in 720p and have a look at your CPU usage.
My bets that both Cores are at 90% ;)

To be honest, you cant do anything with 300 euro's to get a good 720p stream on, let alone a 1080p stream.
With around 650/700 euro's you can build a nice pc wich can do 720p really well.
I would sugest saving some more money before you upgrade.

About the capture card, i dont think it will help enough, it helps not doubt about it, but the encoding from it is pretty bad as far as i know when it comes to quality, so you will probably only want to use it to capture your screen wich helps you with keeping your fps up ingame, for the encoding part of the stream you just need better hardware overall.
