Hello! So I want to record (and maybe stream) some of my gameplay on youtube using OBS. I have a laptop.
The specs are:
OS: Windows 10 Pro (x64)
Laptop: Asus X550LB
CPU: Intel Core i7-4500U
RAM: 4GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M && Intel HD Graphics Family
Internet Speed:
Download: 90 Mbps
Upload: 95 Mbps

I know those aren't good specs at all, but the games I will play aren't resource hungry at all. And I say that because I just want to play games like: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (Multiplayer), Minecraft, Metin2 (MMORPG popular game in my country).

EDIT: I'm aiming for 720p at 60 FPS if possible.

I'm assuming you just want to record and stream.

Recording:
1280x720 @ 60fps)
Ultrafast encoding (x264 is what I use, but experiment and try others like NVENC)
CRF bitrate level 15

Streaming: 1280x720 @ 30fps
Ultrafast encoding (x264 is what I use, but experiment and try others like NVENC)
Bitrate of 3000

The GT 740M doesn't support Nvenc, so you cannot use that. But you can try to use Quicksync (QSV) as encoder before you try x264. x264 is running on the CPU and very resource hungry, so you might get problems with your not very powerful CPU. 60fps is most certainly not achievable with x264 plus game on your CPU.

I have a far worse CPU, and I can easily get 1080p60. Just a bit of stuttering caused by GPU overload, but that will be fixed soon.

I have a problem... blackscreen on fullscreen gamecapture...

EDIT: FIXED! I had to run OBS as administrator.

Can you tell me what settings to use with QuickSync? I'm talking about Target Usage, Profile, Async Depth and Rate Control.

Use simple output mode instead of advanced. This way you don't need to set all these convoluted settings. They are hidden and given sane and optimal defaults.

I was asking because I saw a post of your about quicksync so maybe you could help me out
