Hello, I am quite new to OBS, and I'm struggling with the settings. I have tried using it to record The Sims 4, but I can't get the perfect settings. The quality is either really low but the speed is quite fast, or the quality is really high but the recording is very laggy and slow. I have messed around with the settings, but now all it is is poor quality and it's really slow. I wondered if anyone could help me with the settings.
When I output the resolution to a higher setting, I get crystal sharp video, but it lags (lower quality res and it still lags).
This is my computer spec:
AMD A4-4000 APU with Radon HD Graphics
3.00Ghz
RAM 8.00Gb
64 Bit operating system x64 base processor.
Windows 10
These are the current OBS settings for Sims 4:
OUTPUT:
Encoder x264
Rate control CBR
Bitrate 1500
VIDEO:
Output scaled resolution: 1280 x 720
I'm not too sure what else to add at the moment, but I've probably missed something!
Do you think it's merely the spec of my computer (with its integrated graphics card...though the Sims 4 itself works perfectly) or something else?
