Question / Help Help with OBS push to talk

So when I use Capslock as the hotkey for my push to talk for OBS it records the audio fine but when I use any other key as my hotkey for it, it has like some sort of clipping sound in the background of the audio here is an example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vWDDU84FHA. Does anybody have a clue what is going on here, and how to fix it? Thanks
