Hello guys! so for reference i have a red switch mechanical keyboard and i type very hard so its pretty loud. My mic is a blue snowflake. I know my mic placement isnt exactly optimal, being 2 inches above my keyboard:
Also i play fps games, which usually call for loud button pushing and fast movements, so during my stream my keyboard is incredibly loud and obnoxious. I've tried setting up a noise gate, but most of the time my keyboard sounds are actually louder than my voice, so the noise gate isn't really working. Any tips or ideas? I'm thinking of buying or making a mic stand or boom to put the mic close to my face, and away from the keyboard. I was just wondering if any of the smart guys here had any ideas im just missing.
