ok so I don't know how to fix this or if I even can, but I'm using a elgato game capture to send my games on my gaming pc to my streaming pc. Now I know on a single pc you can just use game capture for certain games on diffrent scenes, but on a 2 pc setup the game capture is set as a video capture device. How do i setup diffrent scenes like lets say League where you go from lobby to game how would I setup a scene for that without it messing up with that makes sense. Basically I just want to lock my game capture for certain games on certain scenes instead of showing everything on every scene.

A capture card cannot capture only specific programs or windows. It just captures the full display frame of anything being sent. Think of it as having a camera pointed at your monitor, but without the quality loss.

You MIGHT be able to run OBS on the gaming PC and capture the windows that way, sending them over the network via NDI, but at that point you're already incurring the performance overhead of running OBS on the machine, and if you've got an nVidia card that supports NVENC, there's no real reason to run a 2PC setup at all.

Really, anything with a 1660 or newer has rendered 2PC setups virtually pointless outside of edge-case scenarios (or the poor unfortunate souls stuck on AMD GPUs). They add needless complexity to your setup without a specific need to have a second system, and are mostly newbie-bait due to outdated info and the endless parade of idiots parroting information on YouTube without knowing the first thing about any of it.
