Help with manual zoom disabled from webcam properties

Hi everyone - I am trying to use the manual zoom function (found "Properties for Video Capture Device > Configure Video > Camera Control tab). It is greyed out so i can not change it. I tried the software and camera on another PC and I could change it so a little confused. Any thoughts on how i can get the zoom function to work? Thanks
